MTO Gas-Chemical Complex at the 7th Tashkent International Marathon: Team Energy and the Spirit of Athletic Achievements

On April 13, 2025, Tashkent became the center of a major sporting event — the 7th Tashkent International Marathon, which attracted a record-breaking 11,500 participants from 52 countries. The event brought together professional athletes, amateurs, and corporate teams, making it one of the largest marathons in Central Asia.
The MTO Gas-Chemical Complex actively supports initiatives aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle among its employees. As part of the marathon, the company presented a team of 10 participants who successfully completed the 3 km and 10 km races, emphasizing the importance of physical activity and team spirit.
Among more than 200 corporate teams representing Uzbekistan’s leading companies, the GCC MTO team demonstrated excellent preparation, endurance, and resilience throughout the race. The marathon followed a new route along Yangi O’zbekiston Park, offering race options of 3 km, 10 km, 21 km, and 42 km. Additionally, special races were organized for children and people with disabilities, highlighting the inclusive nature of the event.
The marathon was organized by the Ministry of Sports of Uzbekistan, the Tashkent City Administration, the Central Asian Running Academy, the Athletics Federation of Uzbekistan, and the Central Asian Athletics Association. The event was supported by 85 certified referees and coaches, along with 115 volunteers, ensuring a high level of organization.
Participation in the 7th Tashkent International Marathon became a vivid example of how sport unites people, inspires achievement, and strengthens team spirit. The MTO Gas-Chemical Complex is proud of each of its participants and will continue to support initiatives that promote health, unity, and overall development. This marathon was not only a sporting challenge but also a step toward new heights that the team will conquer together!
